Well, 11th District Democrat candidate for Congress Bill Foster has now thrown away all pretense that he is a “moderate” Democrat by having a fundraiser with hardcore left-winger David Axelrod this week.
Remember, it was Axelrod that quixotically claimed that the country is doing juuuuust fine under Obama quite despite that this is the worst economy since The Great Depression, with the highest on-going unemployment, and millions so frustrated that they are dropping out of the job market.
Meanwhile, as Foster cozies up to those responsible for driving this country into bankruptcy, his own state is mired in rising unemployment as Illinois’ jobless rate climbs again, now to 9.1 percent.
As NRCC Spokeswoman Katie Prill notes, “Bill Foster was fired once before for voting with his liberal cronies and not in favor of Illinois families. Now we see Bill Foster is promising to continue his Chicago-style politics if sent back to Congress. Illinois families can’t afford his reckless, partisan ways.”
That’s right, Foster was dumped from Congress once before. If we are to fix this state and country we don;t need the same old extremist, liberal ideas that sent us to the depths of despair we find ourselves in. We don’t need Bill Foster’s tired, old ideas.
Bill Foster is too extreme to help bring Illinois and the country out of the depths of this Obama depression.
