Big News: I’m on the Financial Services Committee!

From the office of Rep. Randy Hultgren (R, Illinois 14th District)…

I’m here in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, just outside some meeting rooms, and I’ve just gotten some very exciting news: we’ve officially heard that I’ll be serving on the Financial Services Committee for the next couple of years here in Congress.

As many of you might know, my background is in finance. I worked for an investment company in Chicago before coming to Congress, as well as working on financial institution committees down in Springfield. So this is something that I feel passionately about. It’s a key part of what makes us a great nation: a great economy, one that believes in the free market, and the ability to have an idea and grow that idea.

I’m really looking forward to the opportunity to continue to serve you, as well as to fight to get our economy growing again, and to get more people working again. Thank you for your support, and thank you for the privilege of serving you here in Congress. I hope you have a great day!
